Today we started a new vegetable, PEAS! Yuck, personally I do not like peas... but Aiden seemed to like them because he was willing to eat and eat and eat. He is such a good baby. I am hearing that other babies his age are getting close to crawling. Aiden hates being on his tummy and can hardly roll over. So I am putting toys in front of him while he is on his tummy like people have been suggesting forever and I've done it before and he still cries bloody murder. He hates tummy time. I was thinking today that he might talk before he crawls. And end up telling me when he is ready.

Today he is exactly 5 months.

Aiden eating his first vegetables

We decided to start with carrots because Alan's mom said he liked it so much his nose turned orange and I figured Aiden will like carrots. He seemed to be very confused with it but he was opening his mouth willing to eat more even after he ate it all. He loves eating like his daddy.
He is a very good eater. We are so proud of him.

The first post

I am just waiting to see my x manager- Aaron McCain- post a picture of his baby girl on his blog... so I thouht I would create one. It seems like the mature thing to have. Less social more informative. Aiden is growing like a weed. Everyday he is learning something new. Right now he is putting everything he can in his mouth, which is limited because he can't really move around yet... but pretty much anything he can reach makes its way to his mouth. At his 4 month check up he weighed 15lbs 11oz and was 24 inches long. Aiden is starting to laugh more and more everyday. We are finally getting into a routine... not a good one, but its a start. He wakes about 2 times a night... to eat... which he doesn't need- he's so heavy. I started him on rice cereal the second I could in hopes he would start sleeping through the night and my hopes were crushed. He love his night feedings. And now about Alan, Alan has been going to college full time with extremely hard classes, I could not survive!, and he works full time. He is amazing. I am so impressed with him. He's taking STATS, Physics 2, Anatomy and Physiology, and I think one more... to many to keep track of. He is making good test grades and is keeping up with his homework. He is so smart.Well I am finished for now, but am excited to keep this up- because I haven't been keeping a journal.
