7 Months old ALREADY!

Aiden turned 7 months June 14th. I can not believe how fast he has grown. At his 6 months appointment he weighed 17lbs and 14oz and was 26 1/2inches long. Aiden still hates tummy time and is far from crawling. He is a cuddler. He loves hugs and laughs at kisses. He is happy almost all the time except for when he is trying to go to sleep. He is interested in everything he shouldn't touch... he could care less for his toys. He is a destroyer, he loves knocking things over. If I leave him for a second in the bumbo on the kitchen table Everything is knocked over and I make it a point to put things out of reach. He is sitting up very well. He loves bathes. He loves rubber duckies. He kicks and throws his arms in excitement when he sees his rubber duckies. His hair has grown in thick on top but the sides and back are lacking. People ask us if we have cut his hair, sometimes in disgust. Why would we cut a babies hair to be a mow hawk? But it is super cute!
I have a seasons pass to Hurricane Harbor, so Aiden and I will get to go as much as we want.

Here's a picture to show Aiden's mow hawk.

Aiden got his hands into his Cousin Samantha's spaghetti.

Daddy is teaching Aiden how to be a boy.
Aiden loves bathes and ducks!
Aiden got his third tooth and here's a picture of him teething.

rolling into teeth

Aiden got another tooth yesterday. And for the first time today-Alan and I both on separate occasions saw Aiden roll over from his stomach to back. He has only been rolling from his back to stomach for about a month so it's a relief to know he can both way now. It's amazing how fast he is growing. He is starting to understand what I don't want him to do and so those are the things he goes for... like he loves my cell phone and knows how to put it in his mouth. I had a baby ruin a cell phone before so I definitely don't want him chewing on it... and HE LOVES TOO. If babies would just want THEIR toys and not mine! TOMORROW IS MY 21st Birthday!!

Today we started a new vegetable, PEAS! Yuck, personally I do not like peas... but Aiden seemed to like them because he was willing to eat and eat and eat. He is such a good baby. I am hearing that other babies his age are getting close to crawling. Aiden hates being on his tummy and can hardly roll over. So I am putting toys in front of him while he is on his tummy like people have been suggesting forever and I've done it before and he still cries bloody murder. He hates tummy time. I was thinking today that he might talk before he crawls. And end up telling me when he is ready.

Today he is exactly 5 months.

Aiden eating his first vegetables

We decided to start with carrots because Alan's mom said he liked it so much his nose turned orange and I figured Aiden will like carrots. He seemed to be very confused with it but he was opening his mouth willing to eat more even after he ate it all. He loves eating like his daddy.
He is a very good eater. We are so proud of him.

The first post

I am just waiting to see my x manager- Aaron McCain- post a picture of his baby girl on his blog... so I thouht I would create one. It seems like the mature thing to have. Less social more informative. Aiden is growing like a weed. Everyday he is learning something new. Right now he is putting everything he can in his mouth, which is limited because he can't really move around yet... but pretty much anything he can reach makes its way to his mouth. At his 4 month check up he weighed 15lbs 11oz and was 24 inches long. Aiden is starting to laugh more and more everyday. We are finally getting into a routine... not a good one, but its a start. He wakes about 2 times a night... to eat... which he doesn't need- he's so heavy. I started him on rice cereal the second I could in hopes he would start sleeping through the night and my hopes were crushed. He love his night feedings. And now about Alan, Alan has been going to college full time with extremely hard classes, I could not survive!, and he works full time. He is amazing. I am so impressed with him. He's taking STATS, Physics 2, Anatomy and Physiology, and I think one more... to many to keep track of. He is making good test grades and is keeping up with his homework. He is so smart.Well I am finished for now, but am excited to keep this up- because I haven't been keeping a journal.
